Google's next version of Android will
according to the Bluetooth (SIG) Special Interest Group, feature support for low energy technology Bluetooth Smart.
Its exact release date was not stated in the press release but it was said to be in the coming months hoping it doesn't take long. A press email sent to bloggers just shortly after Google I/O’s keynote ended also indicated that this version will natively support Bluetooth Smart functionality for developers to take advantage of.
