Google I/O 2013 keynote ended and a bunch of announcements were made. Here is a list of them and that's generally what it was like.
Maps
The new Google Maps will let you search for places and see them, together with recommendations, directly on the map. You will be able to see a 3D view of places such as restaurants. It'll also let you select
spots and create landmarks like your favorite restaurant and stuff.
A zoomed out view of the earth from space, so the stars, sun and universe are visible is also included in the package. Together with the clouds you see surrounding the earth.
Google Now
This app returns back exactly what you are looking for. Additionally, Google’s Knowledge Graph-based search even got better therefore giving the most relevant results. The app is able to anticipate information you ain't even asked for yet.
New Google Play Music All Access
Google revealed the launch of their music streaming service. It is a subscription service that will cost $9.99 per month, or if you decide to take a subscription by June 30, $7.99. A free 30-day trial period is also available.
One nice about it is that the songs will be updated according to your taste and preferences, and just with a simple swipe motion, they can be removed from the playlists.
Hangouts
Hangouts is a new messaging service that combines Google services such as G Talk and Google+ into one nice app. Engaging a Hangout video is juss a tap away, ain't that cool? This means you have video, voice calls, and chat all in one app. You all got to try this.
